Prepare taxes your way: Do-it-yourself tax filers can now take advantage of mobile, online or software filing solutions.
New Mobile Filing Apps: Free downloads will be available for Apple iPhone, iPad and Droid smartphones on January 5. Taxpayers can complete and file a 1040EZ federal and state return using a smartphone or a 1040 from an iPad. Simply take a picture of your W-2 from your smartphone to automatically import your tax documents.
Expanded import: Users can save more time by automatically importing their tax data from last year’s return – even if the return was prepared with competing products.
Better navigation: A bookmarking capability allows users to flag specific pages, leave notes or comments and revisit these pages at a later date to make revisions or complete their return.
Alternate ways to log-in: Taxpayers can access H&R Block At Home online through Facebook Connect, using their existing username and password.
Enhanced search: A search bar has been added to the main navigation offering quick and easy access to useful tax content. If users have tax questions along the way, they can rest assured expert advice from a community of tax professionals is available within the product.
